Smoked Black Tea Blend
Inspired by a thunderstorm in the Okinagan, this intense tea has a wonderfully complex flavour profile. Sweet, Spicy and Smoky.
This tea is perfect for those who enjoy the smoky flavour of Lapsang souchong but find it a little too intense on its own. Definitely one of my most unique teas, and absolutely gorgeous in both taste and looks.
What Makes this Tea Amazing: The blend began with a smoky cup of high quality Fujian Lapsang souchong. I mellowed it out with sweet licorice root and anise seed, then spiced it up with some fair trade sweet cinnamon bark and pink peppercorns. And since I feel like most tea blends are not complete without a little fruit, I added a few diced dried figs.

Preparation Steep 1 tsp of tea blend in 8oz of freshly boiled, filtered water for 3-7 minutes. Add milk, lemon or sweetener if desired.
