This beautiful Estate tea is grown in tea gardens in the Assam region of India. The tropical climate of the Assam region contributes to the tea's unique malty taste and its bold, lively flavour. This prized 2nd flush Assam tea is sweeter, more full-bodied and considered superior to the first flush tea. It is 'tippy', named thus for the gold tips that appear on the leaves.

It brews up with a strong, bright colour that is perfect any time of day. It's wonderful on its own, but also takes milk, sweetener, lemon or mint beautifully. Looking for a good tea for making your own Chai? Look no further! This Assam is definitely bold enough stand up to the spicy chai flavours!

Certified Organic Luxury Ingredients:
• 2nd Flush Assam TGFOB (Tippy, Golden, Flowery, Orange Pekoe) Black Tea (Camellia sinensis var assamica)

This tea contains caffeine.

Formulated, blended and packaged by Urban Earth Teas and Wellness in the Qathet regional district (Powell River) of British Columbia, Canada.

Preparation and Instructions

Brewing Instructions: Steep 1 tsp of tea blend in freshly boiled (100°C), filtered water for 5–7 minutes.

Packaging

All packaging choices protect your tea against air, moisture and light (which all can decrease the quality and freshness) and will keep your tea fresh for approximately 2 years.

Mini Size: BPA-free, frosted white plastic zip pouch. Recyclable.

Refill Pouches: White paper with a omnidegradable foil lining. Biodegradable.

Tins: Steel cans with food-grade, BPA-free lining and an airtight lid. Recyclable.

Processing/Shipping

Processing Time: All products are made to order. They are currently blended and packaged Wednesday-Friday, and shipped on Saturdays.

All orders received before midnight on Tuesday will be shipped by the Saturday of the same week. All orders received after midnight on Tuesday will be shipped by the Friday of the following week.
