This hands-free, stainless steel strainer fits perfectly over a tea cup or mug. It is patterned after the tea strainers historically used at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC.
To use it, simply rest the strainer over the cup, pour steeped tea from the tea pot through the strainer and into the cup. The fine mesh strainer removes everything but the finest powders.
I find this works really really for any type of tea, including those with really fine leaves!
