Close your eyes and picture the perfect English tea party. Porcelain tea cups, fascinators, cucumber sandwiches and impeccable table manners. Wrap that up into a cup of tea and you'll get my Lavender Earl tea.
Bergamot and lavender combine to produce an unbelievably aromatic tea. It goes without saying that this is the perfect tea for an afternoon tea party.
What Makes this Tea so Amazing: As wilth all of my black tea-based Earl Grey blends, I began this blend with a beautiful fair trade Ceylon tea, hand infused it with cold-pressed bergamot oil to produce that signature Earl Grey flavour. To this I added Wild Tibetan lavender. This "true" lavender (Lavendular angustifolia) is harvested on the plateaus of Eastern Tibet and has a wonderfully fresh, sweet and heady scent. In my opinion, lavender and bergamot are a match made in heaven!
Ingredients: Ceylon black tea (Camellia sinensis)*, Lavender flowers (Lavendula angustifolia)*, Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia)*
*Certified Organic (USDA), Certified Fair trade (IMO).
Preparation: Steep 1 tsp of tea blend in 8oz of freshly boiled, filtered water for 3-7 minutes.
Sizes: Sample Size (enough tea to make 3 cups of tea); Small bag (enough tea to make 30 cups of tea); Large bag (enough tea to make 60 cups of tea).
